I recommend we develop a tag for use when marking great websites relevant to this group. It could be something like "SFOlocal'. We would then build up a list of bookmarks in Delicous relevant to our interest.

Hi Souza, please tell me more about how to tag these sites.

You need to create an account on Delicious.com. It is a social bookmarking service. When you find a site relevant to the group, you add it to your Delicious account with the TAG sflocalfood.

Then anyone can search Delicious for that tag and get all of the sites. Likewise we can post a URL from Delicious that would pull up a webpage with all of the bookmarks.

For example, here is the URL for "food" ranked by popularity:

http://delicious.com/search?context=all&p=food&lc=1

I've signed up for delicious.com and started tagging with:
"SFOLocal local organic sustainable food"

I think the tag has to be one continuous string like "sfolocalfood"

Actually, I discovered you can use multiple tags for one site. The tag that makes it uniquely ours if SFOlocal. The other tags have already been used by others. My hope is that we not only add value by tagging sites with tags others look for, but that this also brings awareness to our tags as others look at sites tagged as local, organic, sustainable or food (when they look at things in delicious, it shows tags used for that site (if I remember correctly).
